yukito orikasa is my ultimate favorite comfort character above all of my other comfort characters. not a day goes by where i don't wish he were real. i'll try and keep this short, but this man inspires me so much and makes me so happy when i think of him. he tries to conceal his emotions under his cool exterior, but he is a very emotionally vulnerable man behind the veneer he shows to his fans, which becomes evident through the whole banri incident. it's this emotional side of him that reacts to trauma in a painfully realistic way strikes a deep chord within me and as someone who's also been through a lot, loving yuki not only helps me cope but it helps me to recognize the close bond he has with momo and it motivates me to help the people around me that are struggling in a similar fashion. yuki inspires me to become a better version of myself that i would have not known if i hadn't discovered my love for him, and he is so, so close to my heart. also, i hc him as trans and gay. needless to say, he's my everything! yuki love mail!

my 2 role model comfort characters are the silver haired dreamboat, steven stone, and the leader of mad burnish, lio fotia! my first ever pokémon game was sapphire, and ever since then, steven has played a huge comfort role in my life. i hc him as trans, gay, and neurodiverse. as for lio (yep, my namesake!), i'm currently avoiding spoilers for promare because the movie hasn't been translated yet, but they have risen to become my other role model cc due to similar reasons. i hc them as masc nb. both steven and lio are special than my other ccs because they're role models to me since i highly admire their extreme passion and their classy and serious yet effeminate personalities and aesthetic. for emotional reasons, i attach myself heavily to these two and have made it my life goal to be more like them, beyond the realm of kinning. they're like gods to me at this point. someday i'll be as dignified and valiant as these two. for now, they will both be my most important comfort tags ("hey wake up" image was drawn by shayminlover on tumblr).
